The missed shot on goal yesterday by Qatar’s teenage striker Fahad Khalfan is already being called the worst miss of all time, and it’s certainly a contender. (Watch here). But it’s not a certainty for the title, as this effort (below) by Ronny Rosenthal for Liverpool against Aston Villa in 1992 shows. Open goal. Chips it onto the bar. Ahhhh.

Another strong contender for worst miss of all time has to be this from Rocky Baptiste. Or this from Kei Kamara.
