The international break provides an opportunity to take stock of the multinational melting pot that is the Premier League, and late last week we presented snapshots of the number of international players by club, and a breakdown of the 60 nations represented by full internationals in the Premier League so far this season.

Today, sportingintelligence looks at some individual club case studies, including Arsenal here; they have used 19 different players from 11 different nations as starters in League games so far this season.

The most common nationality of Arsenal starting players so far has been French (six, five of them full internationals), followed by English (three, all full internationals, with a fourth Englishman, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, being used as a sub).
