by

27 April 2010

The New York Giants will give Brandon Crawford, a 33-year-old former marine, a shot at becoming one of the oldest rookies in the NFL’s history. Crawford will join 23 other players in a tryout mini camp hoping for a chance to join the Giants roster after being passed over in the draft. The odds are stacked heavily heavily against him, but the man himself has been talking to the New York Post about his chances, and a round-up of other takes on the story are here.
