Spot the ball park: 10

by

9 April 2010

Can you identify the sporting arena? We take an aerial view of a topical ball park, football stadium, marathon course, golf course, Games venue, race track, iconic arena, athletic theatre (some literally theatres), pitch, park, stretch of water or wherever else sport takes place. And we ask you to identify it with the help of a cryptic clue… For older STBPs, click here

.

SPOT THE BALL PARK: No10

Clue: On Saturday, Sid – who’s just recently been linked to Alex – will be looking at a thrashing of one sort or another.

What’s the city? And the venue? What’s the game? Who are Sid and Alex? And how did No49 separate them recently?

Answers in the comment box, please. The winner receives a warm round of applause (provision of clappers not included).

That’s not a wholly correct answer – there’s a major error in there BD.

  • jdurham67:

what happened to my answer? – correctly stated all, including PHILLIPS ARENA

  • admin:

jdurham – this is the first answer we’ve had from you; guess it didn’t submit properly first time, and it’s Philips (One L).
